Laurie not only enjoys photographing weddings, but also enjoys getting to know the wonderful couples she works with. She meets with clients to discuss the photography to be taken. She provides both traditional and photojournalistic photography to capture the remarkable moments.

She uses techniques she has learned working as a photojournalist. Together she and the bride and groom review a time line of the day’s events to allow for a smooth and relaxed day.

The wedding will be photographed by Laurie and perhaps one or two assistants, not by someone who the client has never met with and who’s work they haven’t seen.
